The union representing Toronto police officers is calling on the city to eliminate a $260,000 grant given to Pride. [CP24]

I think you should really learn what "systemic" means, and then look at how officers have been trained for the past decade before I can take your claims seriously, as where I'm standing, anyone who claims systemic racism is a moron.

Now that said, I'm sure racism exists within regions and departments of police. However my bigger concern is not with "systemic" racism taught to them by the force, but ingrained racism taught to them through their environment on a daily beat. The much bigger issue here isn't 20 hours racial sensitivity training per year, but more of a learned form of racism based on daily environmental dealings. That's why we have screwed results of racial corruption in some precincts more than others.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to excuse behaviours of despicable police doing shitty corrupt things based on their beat environment... but to the same extent, I can't excuse the behaviours of disenfranchised youth doing despicable things based on their environment either.

Do you not see how these two things relate? Do you not understand that thinking person good or bad is just the dumbass lazy thoughts of an average 13 year old?
