Videos of humane treatment don’t go viral. I’ve been treated humanely by cops with every interaction I’ve had, even during very negative situations. This is mainly because I’m overly respectful, like in a job interview.

Viral videos go viral because they’re shocking. What’s shocking? Shitty cops. Not normal cops doing their job like they do every day of the year. That’s boring, those videos don’t go viral.

Not sure why so many people don’t get this. How many videos do you see of car crashes? Lots! Dashcam crash videos are all over and go viral. Regular boring videos of cars driving down the road aren’t watched because...they’re boring. Same with any other video spread on the internet.
