I can totally relate to this. I know a lot of people in this thread are like “Americans are weird, mouth kissing isn’t weird!” Well, mouth kissing is weird in America and if we’re being culturally relative here, it sounds like it was weird for your DH. My MIL is extremely inappropriate toward my husband and mouth kissing is the tip of the iceberg. I told him it makes me uncomfortable considering all the other weird shit she does. She talks about her boob job all the time, wears low cut shirts and asks him his thoughts on her boob job while sticking out her chest or pushing her boobs together, she will intentionally stand in front of him and lean over something while sticking her ass out and try to get his attention, and a few weeks ago she had lip injections done and was laying on her couch, icing her lips, and moaning while asking my husband if he thinks her male neighbors would want to come ice her lips.... So in context, the mouth kissing is super fuckin weird. And my husband didn’t fully understand how creepy it was til we had a daughter!
