They promise referendums on Europe whenever they want to renegotiate a deal not because they don't see it as beneficial. The amount of businesses would shift their headquarters elsewhere would cause more loss than gain.

Believe it or not, not all people can go to University and live a life of a well paid job. Not because they didn't pay attention in school but, because they could never realistically afford to take the risk on failing and having that debt.

That is what we have to deal with now, the country will of course be in a financially better place, that's great but, there are going to be people who suffer in these next five years because of welfare cuts because apparently being a country with a lower deficit than everyone else is more important than the well being of its people.
