Voter Turnout Is Surging -- And Mitch McConnell Is Terrified

This is the correct answer. It's the same with all of the talks there's been about how "Donald Trump is losing all of his supporters!!" "Supporters turning on Trump at a record rate!!!" "Trump approval tanking even among Republicans!!!" "Republicans are finished by 2020!!! America is finally done with their shit!!" all repeated ad nauseum. If even 5% of these claims were true his approval rating would literally be in the negatives now. The reality is his approval rating is exactly the same now as it was in the beginning. His approval hasn't changed at all. No Republicans are turning on him. He isn't going anywhere and America will see to that. This is the country we live in.

I'm still going to do my part and vote but all of this naive drivel about how America's progression beyond Republican corruption is right around the corner because Americans have woken up and demanded it - like no seriously, definitely for realzies this time - it just makes my stomach turn.
