Walgreens manager saved a shopper from a sex attack when he heard her screaming in the bathroom and rushed to the rescue

Having grown up in the Bronx, there is definitely some fucked up shit. Luckily I live near a police station so there's at least that. It's weird in a way because it's heavily Black + Hispanic and definitely seen some fucked up shit against minorities when I was younger. One Indian kid was riding a bike - got jumped. I was in a bus, saw a white kid just walking home from school, then you can just see one Spanish kid turn to the other and they run after him and knock him out. Why? Because. My brother (16 at the time) was taking a bus and was beaten up by grown men, thrown in the snow with a swollen eye and robbed. Honestly I always got along with people so I never had problems but those three things were always burned into my head of how cruel some people can be.

Not as bad as those but the catcalling here is probably the worst in the city or something and this is coming from a guy - you will not find more thirsty looking guys that don't give a fuck if the girl is 12 or older.

It's like an ongoing cycle though because there's a lot of poor people and most seem to drop out of school. Who then are having kids as teens and just keep going on and on. Those that do get financial support either end up buying new phones or new shoes.
