Several models handle really well for a cruiser and can corner just fine. The lower centre of gravity lends itself to manoeuvrability as well. Plenty of people have done some notably high speed runs on notorious canyon roads on Harley's.

I realise this comment is more facetious than anything, but still ridiculous given Harley's are cruisers that people do thousands upon thousands of cross country k's on.

Sure, on the bigger touring models, but the other 80% of their offering can lane split just fine.

V-Twin's have amongst the most torque of any comparable motorcycle engine. They'll obviously never compete with a sports bike in the top end, but they are definitely not lacking in the bottom end and will do 0-100 faster than almost any car. FYI the new Pan America and Sportster S models have very impressive performance numbers.

Harley's are akin to muscle cars. Some might prefer a CBR1000RR and a Civic Type R in their garage, some might prefer a Harley and a Challenger. Neither is dumb for having a preference, and in any circle there's always going to be dick heads giving others a bad reputation. Many Mustang owners would never drift into a crowd of people leaving a car meet, and many Harley owners would never idle or rev their bike early in the morning.
