Weekly Discussion - March 16 2020

Hi guys, I adopted meditation as one of the habits recently, as I had decided I'll do whatever I can to improve myself in the quarantine period. Today, I completed one week of meditation and I kind of feel a sense of achievement because this has been a very challenging task for me. I've been doing two sessions a day(20 mins each, one in the afternoon and one before sleep) and I've been following 7 chakras audio while doing it. Each chakra lasts for 3 mins. I downloaded the video from YouTube and I just plug my earphones in by keeping my cellphone in an airplane mode so that I don't get any disturbance. Here are my few cents to all the beginners out there: 1) Only focus on your breath, don't do it too fast or too slow. Exhale and inhale as you'd normally. 2) Its absolutely okay to have few thoughts during meditation. But as soon as you get them try to shift away your focus by breathing 3) It's absolutely okay to feel impatient and restlessness during the sessions. They're just your feelings. With time you'll get better at it

Thank you all :) I'll continue doing it for sure :) I absolutely love it!
