Weekly Newbie Thread - Post questions about joining the AF here & here only - week of March 09

I want to join the USAF as an aerial gunner.

I'm very physically fit with absolutely no medical issues. I do not smoke, drink, do drugs or anything of the like. No history of depression or any mental issues.

My only concern is this :when I was 16 I was a lazy fuck who ate garbage all the time. Whether this was the cause or not, I started to get a slight pinging headache on the left side of my head. It didn't happen all the time and when it did it was not severe (even though I liked people to think it was) . Just severely annoying.

So me being 16 and overly dramatic, I went to the doctors and went on about how my head hurts so bad and it sucks and how I need a diagnosis and meds and an mri because I think i have cancer.

Fast forward a few doctors visits and mri later, they never found anything wrong, and a couple months after that I began recognizing my diet and changing it, as well as exercising. Never had that weird headache since (starting to question if I ever did) . My doctor even told me she thought it was my diet, but I didn't want to listen.

So now I'm in the same category as these poor fucks that get crazy migraines all the time. This literally started when I was 16 and ended when I was 16. No prescription meds or anything. Me being stupid, I felt like the doctor wouldn't take me seriously unless I made it seem worse than it was, so now I have no fucking clue what kind of nonsense is in my records. Although, she never prescribed meds and didn't want to go through with the mri, so I suspect she saw through my teenage bullshit.

So my question is: should I be worried? Should I even disclose this with my recruiter? It feels like such a non issue I don't even want to bring it up, because all my recruiter will hear is "migraines" even though I wouldn't even rate that "pinging" feeling on the same scale as a migraine.

Help? I don't want to get dqed for history of an issue I probably didn't even really have.
