This is a long story, but I'm kinda confused by what's going on between me and this girl. This girl I've been talking to for about 9 months pursued me relentlessly. For various reasons, mainly because of what I perceived would be difficulties in dating her, I kept putting her off. About 4 months ago, she quite talking to me for about 2 weeks and I fell for her. The problem was, she started to talking to another guy. I didn't think it would last, because they were always off and on. Finally, about a month ago I come around and tell her that I would like to date her. The problem? I told her after she told me she was really into the other guy. So, after I asked her out, I didn't take it great. I unfriended her on FB, said I didn't want to text for the time being, etc, etc. The next day I apologize and say I don't want to go another 2 weeks without talking to her and asked if we could be friends. She refriends me on FB and the first thing I see is her and her new BF talking about sex. It upsets me and I think for a few days. I tell her that since she is pursuing the new guy, the only thing we can be is FB friends and if she texts, I will respond, but I'm going silent on my end. She says she understands. I think that we're going to be silent for awhile. The next day, she jokes around with me on FB and she starts texting me about her day at work. I play along, but I'm actually kind of confused. After that night, I don't hear from her for about 5 days from anywhere. Then, on FB, she starts breaking my balls again. My question actually goes back to the texting though. Was she just trying to see what my reaction would be? Is she checking to see if there's potential later? Is it just mind games? Any info would be helpful. I'm kinda new to the dating world. Thank you.
