The Weeknd says he will no longer be working with H&M over controversial listing.

True it’s not fair of me to lump all the sub together when there’s usually at least a few calling out the double standards in incidents like that. I’d only say the sub skews progressive when it comes to race, there’s enough middle-class whiteboy ignorance to offset it plus this place is pretty shocking when it comes to women and lgbt issues.

As for examples, no I don’t have them saved in my bookmarks and I’m not going digging for an internet discussion. You’ll just have to trust me on this one or maybe we have vastly different definitions of racism.

I chose Indians cos they’re a prime example of a group that it’s considered more ‘acceptable’ to shit on in a way. All those genius 4chan designated memes and jerking over how unclean India is etc. Arguing about Indians not being a race is semantics, if they’re getting abuse and stereotyped over being Indians then I call it racism. Is it no longer racism because I said Indians and not a specific ethnic group?
