Wellness Weekend

I have been stuffing myself full of steamed vegetables this weekend, as a result of my hunger getting all out of whack from the Holidays. I have been eating so many sweets, and I needed to cut it out.

For one, CICO and nutrition aside, my body reacts very negatively to that kind of diet. My skin gets itchy and red and, eventually, will start to flake and scab if I keep it up for too long. The good part is, after a few days of telling myself "no", my skin appears to be back to normal.

Also, I don't seem to have gained as much weight as I thought I did, as I weighed in at only 0.2 lbs above my pre-holiday weight this morning. So, back to losing weight I go, without much setback, outside of some weeks lost.
