Wells Fargo's CEO is getting a 36% raise after the bank's nightmare year

Two times in my career I’ve warned my employer that I’m “raising my rates” to work for them. Both times they agreed that a raise is due and they started “working on it”. Both times, after waiting several months, I jumped ship to get that raise elsewhere, leaving them scrambling to come up with something. One had a letter with a $25k increase the afternoon I turned in my resignation letter. Too late bud, I told you I was doing this months ago and you didn’t do shit. A few years ago I changed companies and went from $85k to $144k. Same thing, my last company knew I wanted more after I had proven myself by working there for 10 years.
