Atheism had a resurgence in the early 2010s when people found out that there was a collective piece to criticize between the Christian fundamentalists at home and the Middle East's continued problems abroad: organized religion.

To put it into the mold of class reductionism, class reductionists are the new atheists, criticizing all components and benefactors of capitalism, and wanting to get rid of capitalism as the 2010s atheists wanted to get rid of organized religion.
