I cant really call it my hobby anymore, since I barely play guitar and I'm god awful at it (ik, ik, practice makes you better but I'm just not motivated) and because of that I feel a bit of guilt owning even 1 guitar.

This boy I went to school with, though, has so much more confidence in himself than that. Fair enough, he probably plays guitar every day but... Everyone that knows him says he literally plays the same thing over and over and isn't that great. I'd feel bad for him having people say this if it wasn't for the fact he's so arrogant.

Anyway, what bothers me about him is that I swear every month he's on facebook talking about a new guitar or bass or pedals or something he's going to get. If he was paying for it with his own money id say fair enough, seems like a waste of money but whatever. But no, its his dad who pays for it all.

I mean fuck really dedicated and skilled musicians only have maybe a few guitars, but he's constantly buying them to look impressive when he's... Not that great

I mean I wish I had that much confidence in myself but god don't waste your parents money like that
