What are some good examples of "life isn't fair"?

My mom had an accident that resulted in her back and legs being broken.

The accident was caused by city workers leaving construction equipment and zone open and unfinished for years as progress on fixing the city stalled.

She purchase a small mobile to live in with the paltry sum given to us by the state as settlement.

We lost our jobs during the pandemic, so we couldn’t pay rent on the land for a few months. We applied with the California COVID Rent Relief program, and we still have not had a change on our status 19 months after applying.

Since COVID protections are over, landlords hold all the power again. And since the COVID Rent Relief fund STILL hasn’t paid our back due rent, the park manager told us that we have no choice but to pay rent ASAP or they will evict us. They implied all this will go away if we just….give them our home. And we’d be homeless. And even if the money did come in at some point, it would have to go to the park, per the state law.

So the park would make us homeless, steal our home, and the they would even get their money in the end.

I’m tired boss.
