A certain store in the mall that pierces ears doesn’t really fully train their staff for ear piercings. The plastic gun they use can’t be completely cleaned and the earrings they use break easily. “Training” for employees consists of maybe watching a ten minute video and then watching someone pierce. And then they’re just told to take a turn on a customer.

Those earrings they sell you? Yeah, they’re shit quality and marked up. Go to a legit piercing place and pay more or less the same amount except it’ll turn out way better b/c the piercer isn’t a teenager who’s terrified of fucking up your ears. And definitely don’t trust them to pierce your infants ears! As a former employee of this store, please trust me when I say that we had problems with the guns, cartridges, or earrings almost every day. They would break or get broken or not fully go into the ear…it was just a mess. I hated every moment of piercing but I had to do it b/c I needed to pay my bills.
