What is a boomer opinion about the younger generation you actually agree with?

It’s almost like we actually understand it lol. It’s almost like understanding something dispels a lot of the fear around it. We are aware of the benefits Vs risk in the very things we made ourselves. We know how they are being used. Of course it’s for profit. Tf? What venture in a capitalist society is not for profit? Green energy and saving the planet is only being pursued if it’s profitable. When AI make the 40 hour work week untenable and policies are put out to offset the consequences of this new reality, you’ll have AI to thank for increased time given back to you actually spend richly. Automation and efficiency bring costs down, the more AI that are implemented to scale in conjunctions to their related fields such as manufacturing, the cheaper things become and the more we can improve our lives. There are robots now being used by surgeons to enter a bloodstream and fix a serious myriad issues such as cancerous growths when before they’d have to use a catheter with a camera on it. One day agriculture will be widely automated and farmers will work from a room with monitors to observe various kinds of processes being entirely done autonomously. Which will bring the price of food down significantly. 3D printed process will be improved in the near future and have already been used to make something as complicated as a rocket booster. Imagine when the CAD design process can be automated with an AI and can design safe homes that are up to code and won’t collapse in an earthquake, and then the process of constructing that home is largely automated. Which again, brings prices down. There isn’t a process or job in this world an AI can’t do 40% better and 100% more consistently. It absolutely improves our lives and gives back the most important resource of all, time. And even end of life care can be improved significantly when a robot can maintain your dignity by ensuring you can shower and defecate without assistance from loved ones

Digital privacy doesn’t exist anymore and we are fine. The device you are using to have this pointless conversation is far more dangerous to your privacy than an Alexa. Your digital footprint is accessed and used every day and that is okay.
