I’m going to tell you guys here and now WHY it’s so important for rose to be fat (no matter what you guys say,no matter what excuses,shes still gonna be fat)

When I first watch the show the only fat female character that I saw was amethyst and .. I really thought she would end up being every fat girl trope you see on tv past and present. Messy,unkept,gross (her room) and gluttonous,etc. I was upset to think she was going to end up being nothing,but a joke on her weight and was close to just not even bothering with the show. I’m glad I kept with the show because it’s showed her as much more then fat jokes (which im happy to say there is NONE)

Then. . then you see rose… shes a fat female character . shes not shown to be some glutton whos always hungry. . shes not shown as gross and disgusting. .she shown as graceful,looked up to and admired and beautiful. just so. . dang beautiful. I think this was the first time I saw a fat female character who had none of the fat girl tropes and it just blew me away. Growing up i’ve always been insulted because of my weight and it made me end up starving myself to the point I even had friends ask me if I ever ate because they never saw me eat anytime they were around me and you know what starving but still eating some does to you right? it makes you retain ALL that weight,it even makes you gain more and with my sensitive pallete, my choice of foods was very limited

It’s just,having rose being a fat character is so important,it’s so very important and I wish there were shows with characters like her that show fat people are more then just food and grossness. they can be admired and beautiful

TLDR: please stop saying rose isn’t fat,it’s important for girls who are fat to have a character like her around

Please don't be in such a rush to show how terrible a person you are.
