What can’t you do anymore?

Cannot eat a tub of Ben and Jerry’s or a whole pizza or box of cereal. Can’t drink juice and shakes and sodas and iced teas.... The list is too long. But really, concentrating on what you are “losing” is not helpful. I would not recommend “dosing for as much junk food as you like,” but you see people have different standards and goals. I need insulin — I don’t like it, it makes me store fat; but it keeps me alive. So, to me, avoid the need for lots of insulin by avoiding the foods that cause one to need lots of it. Again, reasonable people will disagree, but some of us prefer to have a list of things we choose not to do, rather than cannot do — for simplicity sake and to avoid the rollercoaster highs and lows, and maybe stall or eliminate complications down the line, etc — maybe. Depends on what you believe is the right thing vs. the results you are getting in real life.
