What company is permanently on your boycott list?

Ubisoft is on a semi permanent boycott, I'll buy Assassin's Creed, I won't buy anything else from them and even then I only bought Assassin's Creed games in the summer sale because they were 75% off.

EA has not made a good game is so long that if I see an EA brand on a game I put it down without a second thought.

I will never shop with Nero again, I bought a blu-ray player software from them which didn't work, they told me to download a blu-ray extension app, the software was $30, the app was $20. It never worked and over a period of literally months because of extremely slow customer support I never got the program to run. Eventually I demanded a refund and they stopped emailing me. I reported that one to the ACCC but never had a follow up on that.

Whilst not really a boycott this is also worth a mention.

JbHiFi Australia is one of the best digital retailers in Australia if not the best and their stock and service is usually quite exceptional, however after my dreadful experience with special ordering I will never order anything with them again.

In short in April of 2014 I ordered Code Geass parts one and two, four months later they finally get it in and call me once, get no answer and list the dvds for open sale. Two weeks after that failed call I call them to find out where it is to hear that they had planned to sell it to another bloke in less than a day. I arrived to pick it up and they had written on the box leaving markings and obvious defects. When I complained they refused they had the nerve to try and argue that it was in mint condition.

I had to go over their heads to the regional manager to finally get my replacement, turns out when the regional manager is barking down your throat that two week wait time to get in a new copy of Code Geass suddenly becomes a day, I was able to pick up my replacement the day after I sent in my complaint.
