what cultural change/shift would you like to see in Ottawa?

I think this is a very binary way of seeing it...There are many different ways suburban communities can be approached to still have medium to lower-density neighborhoods that would still be enjoyed by many people. I think many people have not really seen or experienced anything other than the super urban lifestyle of cities like NYC/Toronto and super suburbs like Barrhaven/Ottawa... walkability doesn't have to mean a city lifestyle. I think the main point is having block after block after block of suburban car-centric communities that don't try just as much to accommodate pedestrians just as much are bad for the overall development of the city.
