Part of me “training” my kitty was deciding not to chase her. I wanted her to come to me, on her terms, and that I wouldn’t pick her up just because I want to. So she’s comfortable doing her thing, hiding places, sleuthing around, and I’ll check on her to make sure she’s okay but I will not force her to come with me. I allowed her to get used to the kennel so she goes in on her own. Unless it’s for her own good, or she’s in danger, I let her be. I don’t touch her while she’s sleeping, so that she feels completely safe and secure that she can sleep without being disturbed. She follows me around and I know it’s because she wants to be near me, not cause I picked her up and put her in my room.
