What dps does a super complex guy like myself like?

I'm relatively new to FFXIV but a veteran to MMOs. I've played FFXIV for only about two months in the past and I'm resubbing today. So far, I've played a bit of a monk, a ninja, a WHTM and a BLM. I'll be honest, I haven't really liked any of them.

The grease lightning mechanic for monks was a mega-drag. I'm not sure if it was addressed or not in the xpac, but being a super complex individual, I don't like it when I go through a ton of effort to ramp up and then it falls off due to boss mechanics.

As a completely sophisticated and unique individual, the grease lightning mechanic for monks was a mega-drag. I'm not sure if it was addressed or not in the xpac, but I don't like it when I go through a ton of effort to ramp up and then it falls off due to boss mechanics. I also disliked the BLM for nearly the same reason. Not that I've experienced it myself, but reading up on the BLM sounds like if you had to move more than once in swift-cast's cooldown it would mess up the entirety of your rotation due to some nuances with the mechanics behind fire 4. I may be wrong on this though?

When it comes down to it, being a person of complex complexitivyness, I want a class that can maintain competitive damage that doesn't get smacked down the second you have to actually do mechanics. I want a class that has a relatively easy to use rotation [Ninja got pretty complex. Which is perfect for a complex guy. But I didn't like it. For other reasons. Because I'm complex.] and doesn't rely on it's raid spot solely due to utility. Not that I'm not a team player. You wouldn't understand.

In all seriousness - What class has a fluid, easy to learn / execute, hard to master rotation that isn't heavily hampered by RNGesus or movement. Also, in the FFXIV raiding scene is cleave DPS a thing? If so, which classes excel at it? I was considering the possibility of a summoner, strictly because I feel like it'd be a monster cleave dps from what I've read, but I've no idea how that translates into practicality of a raid environment. Is BLM better at cleaving? Do melees even have cleaves aside from a couple abilities in the apocochacolato [Monk second] stance?

The main contenders for me right now are BLM, Ninja and Summoner. Maybe Dragoon and monk, depending on how positionals and grease lightning affects their consistency. I've only gotten all of the above to around level 30-40, so I'm still very unaware of the fluidity and ease of the rotations, as well as the transition of the rotations. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
