This is a mindset that I apply to my sewing as well, but I do try to make garments and accessories that I’ll enjoy wearing and owning as much as making. I can spend a year learning techniques to knit the Fossveien sweater, knit it for a month and still wear it to go cross country skiing.

So I guess I’m more of a project knitter even if I enjoy taking my time, learning techniques and finishing my projects neatly. I can’t handle having more than one WIP at once because it stresses me out. Making things has gotten much more enjoyable ever since I started finishing what I started, as obvious as that sounds.
