What event divided your life into 'before' and 'after'?

My first time playing football I was always this overweight pudgy kid who was unmotivated spoiled and thought the world was entitled to me first day there I was expecting to dominate everyone because of my fat boy strength, Came to a complete shock when I could barley keep up with the kids on the field I never felt so small in my life, but the biggest eye opener came when the coach working there tore me a new one "damn you're one fat kid, how you expect to play football like that" that really struck a cord with me, he never really meant it to destroy my confidence but rather give me a reality check I never worked for anything in my life and never been told something so real. After that I worked my ass off lost 80 pounds got in shape and worked my way up to becoming a starting lineman just to prove him wrong. The last game of my career there the coach told me how proud he was of the man I'd become. My personality did a complete 360 after that I became a hard worker, humble, and became someone people would actually enjoy being around. I can't imagine my life had I not gone to that first day of football practice
