What famous athlete went to your high school and how dominant were they?

This might be stretching the term 'athlete' a bit, but if eSports players fall into this category, then I actually know someone who is now a world-class professional Dota 2 player. Now I don't play Dota 2 myself, but I did know a person in my class whose nickname was 'ana' (short for Anathan). I'm sure most Dota 2 players would know him for being in the team that won the world cup the other year, and he's basically a multi-millionaire right now.

Anyways, I hope I'm not intruding on his privacy or whatnot by recounting this, but I do remember Ana used to skip class because he overslept the last night playing Dota 2. I personally didn't think much of it, although I found it weird that he would do that when his parents literally sent him to a private school costing thousands of dollars. We used to hang out a lot in eighth/ninth grade (before I left that school), but I've lost track of him since then.

Back on the topic of dominance, I can't say for sure how 'dominant' he was before he won the Dota 2 world championship as I don't follow the scene very well. I remember, however, searching his name on Google one year (let's not ask why I was doing that) and being shocked to discover that he had went pro sometime in late 2015, while also dropping out of high school. Then I looked at his earnings, which was in the hundred-thousand dollar range. He was playing in a team in China, then he moved to another team based somewhere in Europe if I recall -- I'm not sure on the exact details. There were a few articles about how he was one of the rare Australian people to go pro in the eSports scene, considering our horrible internet and the general lack of population to appeal to most eSports managers or whoever's responsible for finding these players.

So yeah, that's just a random story I was able to tell.
