What the fuck is with n parents constantly posting pictures of their kids to social media without permission????

When I was younger and going through that awkward stage, my parents would take super embarrassing pictures and post them, even though they knew I didn’t like it. There were times my dad took embarrassing pictures of me and threatened to post them online. My sister took pictures of me and laughed at how bad I looked. I even heard my mom and sister laughing at my graduation picture (off guard, of course) and they were saying how I “looked like a crack head” and they were shocked that I was upset when I overheard them. It’s to the point where I’m so insecure of how I look, I will never let anyone take pictures of me. Any group selfies etc I just excuse myself to the side and let everybody enjoy their pictures without my face ruining it.
