In grade 9, a couple friends of mine stupidly made what infamously became known as ‘The Hitlist.’ They put together a list of 30 some odd names of people they hated and beside each one listed why they thought they deserved to die. Being the idiots they were, they posted it on MySpace, and they were caught and immediately expelled the next day when people caught wind of it. Knowing them, they did it all as a joke, and tried to play it off as such. They were never going to act on anything, but schools have zero tolerance for anything like that. I didn’t talk to them much after that, and it sucks they did that because they were two pretty good friends at the time. I never would’ve thought they’d ever do something like that though, they were two very smart kids and damn near threw their lives away over something so stupid.
