What was "the incident" at your school?

A former tech employee quit his job to teach at our school. During one of the lessons a kid said "This is gay" and the teacher took him out of the class to talk to him. When the teacher brought back the student to class he wanted to make an example on how certain slurs shouldnt be used. He welcomed him back saying a variation of the N* word (not sure which one exactly). Student was black and so was 60%+ of the school. His father was part of the NAACP. Went on the news and the teacher was asked to come back in the end, but chose to resign.

This incident lead to another teacher getting fired for responding to a student sarcastically when the student told him that "No one liked him" with, "Well I don't like you either". From how the student told the story, the teacher said "He doesn't like black people". However, some of the kids in the class said that the teacher responded with "Well I don't like you either."

Later on that same school year a couple more students started accusing teachers for being racists. This led to majority of the teaching staff being suspended and investigated, only to be found innocent months later. During the entire time, we had substitutes who were in over their heads on the subjects to be taught. Around half a year of education wasted.
