With time shares, if you have the money for them, they're not terrible. Especially with how they work now, where you're not locked into one place, but you can pick any of the properties the company owns to vacation in.

The problem is the time share company doesn't care if you have the money for them, and will try to convince you that they know your financial situation better than you. They'll tell you the time share is actually a source of income for you, etc. etc. It's predatory and disgusting. Like I said though, if you have the money, they're not terrible in and of themselves.

Then again, if you're sitting on that kind of disposable income you could probably find better vacation deals with out the company.
