My husband was stationed in Dover for a while and some of our friends had a friend that worked with him, but I can't remember his job anymore.
When I asked them if they knew him they said no, but started saying they thought the show was pretty dumb. I'm not sure if that's the general consensus around base, but all of our friends that are in the AF felt that way
Also, a couple months before we moved my husband received a degree (you are encouraged to continue your education to further your career) so there was a small graduation ceremony in an auditorium.
I am 90% convinced that Javi was on stage handing the degrees to the person that would give it to the recipient (a lot of times people will be "volun-told" to do things). I couldn't tell 100% from where I was sitting, but it looked just like him!
Also since I'm writing about Air Force stuff, I just wanted to comment on his schedule because I've seen a lot of people talking about his time off. My husband's job has (fortunately) always been M-F "9-5", but he worked with people who would work 2 weeks on and then 2 weeks off, and two of our friends have jobs that are 2-3 days on, 2-3 days off. You accrue days of leave which you can use whenever you'd like. I just wanted to put this out there because I've seen people talk about how much time it looks like he has off, but really they could just be filming on his days off, or he might have a schedule that looks like one of the ones I've mentioned. My husband has been in the Air Force for a long time and at least from what I've seen, I don't believe they would give him time off to film, he would probably have to use a day of leave if he wanted to do that - also a note about that, you can have a bunch of leave - I believe my husband has over 30 days of leave currently at his disposal. You can't take the full 30 days at one time though, but it's not like a normal job where you have 2 weeks of "vacation" and 3 sick days or something like that
Oh and one other thing I want to keep it vague-ish though, so I don't get anyone in trouble. One of my friends in Dover worked for a company that Kail and Javi hired to do something. They had told me afterwards and said Kail wasn't there, but met Javi and said he was really nice.
