What just doesn't feel the same anymore now that you are older?

I'm almost 29.

I didn't say you personally were young, nor was the comment specifically directed at you. I'm talking about the overall reaction to my post.

I had much less free time when I was in university because I had to study. I don't have to do anything in my free time now.

Again that is your personal story. In general, older people have more commitments than younger people (children, spouses/partners, busy jobs etc).

Yes, sometimes I have to run an errand or clean up, but that isn't a daily thing and doesn't take hours of my time. I'm really surprised that it does that to you, maybe you're really into housework and make it extra complicated or don't manage time well.

I didn't say housework or errands take up hours of my time. I listed them among a number of things that all contribute to a reduction in free time. If I didn't examples, I'm sure people here would reply asking what I do.

The rest of your list are personal preferences (you mentioned gym twice) that aren't obligatory.

No shit they are my personal preferences. Hence putting them in a list of things I do. I am hardly crazy in assuming that all of them are relatively common things to do. I don't think shopping for food, spending time with a partner etc are especially unusual. I listed gym twice as I am typing on a phone and mistakenly edited it poorly.

I crave daily alone time so I prioritize that. It's very easy and simple.

I understand you crave it. But I am relatively sure there are many people who crave time to do certain things but for whom finding that time is difficult (Note: I am not one of those people before I get more replies about being unhappy with my time management). I simply find it unusual that there would be a large amount of people who are able to find hours alone with nothing to do each day. I don't think that is an unusual or contrary view.
