What is it like to live in somalia?

It depends on where in Somalia specially? I can talk about where I live: Mogadishu. * Weather is good. * The city is divided into two sides: 1) First side is where the government is located and it has big and modern places/hotels. Also, most of the educational institutions and international organizations are located here. Security is good unless there's an explosion or a suicide bombing. Poorer people can't live here unless they own a house because the rent of the houses are too expensive. 2) The other part is more affordable to live in although you cannot get modern/healthy restaurants and hotels or hospitals etc. People living on this part are the poorer ones and also are mostly illiterate people, in my opinion. Some universities have branches here although it's not safe to live, You may hear students coming out of their universities are assaulted and forced to give away their mobile phones and laptops in the middle of the day because there are no police nearby. Also, people are killed anytime; if you work for a government institution or an NGO and live in this part you'd most likely be killed anytime by Kooxo aan heebtooda la garaneynin "Some unknown people" Lol. * The food here is not that great compared to the rest of the world or in neighboring countries. Bottom line: To live in Mogadishu at this time is very hard-y, but if security improves in the coming years, then YES, living here would be amazing.
