What it means to be queer and punk in 2020

I don't really get transmed argument. - if the brain really do have an internal map of body that is different from actual body - transitioning would not help as it does not really change structural body to fit their brain, we're sex-coded to DNA level and our genitals were made with specific kind of tissue that surgeries can't fix. In fact there's a research that implies that GRS increased risk of suicide. And even hormones I believe there should be more research on the issue.

Another research I found is that the while the argument of body mapping maybe right, it isn't the case of having a different sex. But that the body will always feel wrong and that can manifest as BIID/"transabled" or extreme body dysmorphia/surgical addiction, not necessarily sex-related.

Also I'm from Thailand, and while we're famous for our version of "trans". They really do exists in a different continuum with Western trans. In my country there's a less of an idea of becoming truly "true and honest women". They belong to a third gender category.

I think the existence of western concept of trans is simply born out of objectivity, where things must be correctly assessed in mechanistic viewpoint. In fact a lot of mental conditions as described in DSM do not manifest itself in the same way in other cultures... Which brings a lot of questions
