Probably going to get buried.

Not a SO, but a former college roommate that had been one of my best friends since kindergarten. Dude had always had a lot of anger problems and I was often the outlet for these episodes. This last time was the last straw for me. He came back to the house screaming, punched my door to pieces and attacked me in my room. I called the cops then me and our other roommate left for the weekend to decide how to kick him out. Over the course of the next few days, I get threatening texts culminating with hiim deleting my hard drives and all of my school work (this was finals week, that was fun to explain to my professors), financial information, along with everything else. Took me about 8 hours to recover 1.5 TB out of the 3 TB he erased.

Many of my friends didn't believe he'd do something like that over a small squabble. Six years pass, during this time I end up receiving several calls from different friends apologizing and explaining similar situations that he ended up doing to them. After all of this, our one remaining mutual friend wanted us both to be groomsmen in his wedding. The bachelor party was just last week and it was the first time I had seen this dude in over six years. I find out that he has systematically destroyed almost every friendship he had and that he hasn't worked the entire time. His mom is paying for the week long trip to Vegas. Probably hoping that he'd rekindle some lost friendships and get his life together. Our only correspondence over that six years was when he sent me a random text two years in that said "Yo yo yo man, Dispatch is in town. How about I get us tickets?" Judging by the time, I assumed it was a drunk text and just blocked his number.

Before the bachelor party I am told numerous times not to start anything and that, knowing this person he'd just pretend like nothing happened; it was kind of his thing. That's exactly how it went. He pretended like nothing had ever happened between us and tried to be all buddy buddy with me. I kept my mouth shut because this was not my week and no one needed that shit to come up. I keep my distance during the whole trip, only interacting when I have to, but on the last night he wants to apologize to me and he does so. Except he doesn't know why he's apologizing and immediately follows it up by saying, "There's no way I could ever get mad at you. You're my best friend!" I just about punched him in the face, but instead excused myself and left. I refused to be near him the rest of the night. He ended up pissing everyone off and no one wanted to deal with him.

Now I've just got to make it through the wedding.
