What is the most memorable memory you have with your dad?

Probably when him and I would go on these cross-country hikes through the mountains, and my dad being in his late 50's, keeping up way better than all of the people my age. I mean, we do live in a time where 70% of youth are unfit for military service, and my dad having been a special operator in a foreign country before coming to the U.S. could lead to unfair comparisons but dang.

We covered about 30 miles in a few hours of some really rugged terrain, and him keeping up just fine with me. Keep in mind I was 18 and had been training for the Civilian Challenge Program for the Navy at the time, and this old guy was killing it making these climbs where only 5 minutes in my "star athlete" friends who were supposed to get sports scholarships were wanting to faint and turn back.

We saw some pretty badass sights.

Another one I'd have to say is simply the cool drives around Lake Tahoe listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival and seeing these ladies who were either college aged or cougars complimenting my dad or trying to flirt with him but seeing him still just brush it off with a kind thank you as loyalty to my mother.
