What do most people not notice are actually advertisements?

For some reason, I read a lot about cell phones. I'm not sure exactly why, because I'm the type that keeps a phone until it starts falling apart, but nonetheless, I read about them.

Recently I've been reading about the Pixel 2 XL. It sounds like an amazing phone - unquestionably the best phone on the market- every reviewer seemed to think so, with a slight mention of how the screen is "more natural" than other phones.

Until it came out that a lot of these screens might be defective.

These reviewers threw out these in depth reviews of these phones, across a myriad of sites, and NONE of them experienced ANY issues? And now, all of those recommendations to buy are turning around pretty fast.

Now, the other day I read about how a lot of mattress "reviewers" were ultimately becoming mattress salespeople - since through affiliate marketing it is so easy to send a percentage of each sale to whoever led the customer to that product.

It's a fantastic racket, because nobody is going to read the fine print.
