I've spent the last 7 months on house arrest for an overreaction by my school over a joke I made about school shootings. I understand I deserve to be punished but a third degree felony is what I was charged with (the same charge as armed robbery). I would elaborate on that story but it's a long one, just know the district looked for a DA would charge me so they could make an example out of me.
Being an AB student and theatre nerd getting expelled and re-enrolled in online school was a hard thing to experience. Not to mention I lost friends and connections, and the musical at my school.
I spent every day since September waiting for it to end so I can get a job and see my friends again. Finally it ends then a few weeks later everything is on lockdown.
FML it sucks real bad. On the bright side I saved money from my old job and I can still see friends. That is what the Coronavirus did for me.
