she’s not a friend but i know someone who’s currently going to college.

she easily could’ve gotten in on some athletic scholarship because she was really good at golf and was being scouted. all she had to do was play during her senior year of high school. but she decided to quit because she was “tired” of it.

then when applying to colleges, she decided not to apply for any scholarships, convinced her family could afford it. because she had been acting so entitled to everything, her father told her to pay for everything herself and see how long she lasts. her grandparents are now paying for everything.

unrelated tidbit: she said she doesn’t want to go into a career where people rely on her and ask her for advice.

so she says she’s becoming a doctor...

she also doesn’t think doctors need to do residency or do any interaction with patients because “that’s the nurse’s job.”
