What’s an unspoken rule that annoys you when people don’t know about it?

Not offended at all. But when you said, "I've got a STORY!" one would think it was interesting. Instead, it was a little humblebragging about how little you eat and how well you cook, then blah blah about a roommate eating a little more than you expected.

If you cook regularly for people, you should be used to people taking different portions. If you really enjoyed feeding people, you'd be happy that all of your food was eaten. Regardless, this is not a "holy shit I have a STORY" moment. Anyone who regularly cooks for others has experienced people eating bigger servings than expected, or not being appreciative, or whatever. It just isn't an interesting story at all, and I can't believe it has this many upvotes.
