What’s the smallest amount of power you’ve seen someone drunk on?

My ex-partner. We started a small venture and I won $6K to have a pitch written, but we needed a complete system description.

I was in charge of it as I’m in IT, but since I have a full time job I couldn’t be on the application as it was only for entrepreneurs.

So I made the description, we won the money under his name as he is an entrepreneur, started working on the pitch and the product itself. 3 months in the dude was wearing turtlenecks like fucking Steve Jobs and harassing me that we’re ‘not moving fast enough’. Again: full time job, solely in charge of system docs and product management duties.

We got a third dude for development and lo and behold: In a month, I was out of the picture, all my docs stolen, I was “fired” for not being “management material with deployment in focus” and “not being able to keep up with a growing business’ needs”.

Funny thing is: I successfully deployed half a dozen major corporate projects so far, a dozen more smaller ones and the dude lecturing me has one project under his belt. Even funnier, they literally stole my idea, which is intended to HELP PEOPLE GAIN MORE AUDIENCE AND PROTECT INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. This is also aimed at an international market and none of the two remaining “owners” speak English.

Breaking up a 12 year old friendship, stealing an idea and making a fool out of yourself over $6000.
