In my old high school, you had to sit at lunch. It was strange, they walked you to the bathroom, they walked you back to your seat and then they waited until the bell rang to go. Me and a friend never sat to eat lunch, instead waited for the right moment to walk either out the door and then back around the front entrance to walk around the school or just made an excuse up “i have detention”. We did this one day and a cleaner lady (fat, troll like and horrifying) followed us the whole way around the school screaming and shouting. Bare in mind, she was screaming crude words. We went up the next floor. Another was there, at this point we were laughing because it was ridiculous. We quickly walked back, down another set of stairs and into the other canteen. The cleaner lady was running down the hall, literal. My business teacher looked at me, confused as we ran, scared out of our wits, pushing the back door open as she lunged herself through the chairs and the children. We hid outside for a good ten minutes before I got caught and my friend had stayed out because they waited at every door. When she eventually got in, she tied her hair up, took of her jumper and hoped they wouldn’t notice, weirdly they didn’t. I went to class and the principle came up, telling me it’s against the rules to walk around at lunch and that a suspension for a week was given to me, but not my friend because they didn’t know her name.
