"I'll sell you to a Chinaman!"*

So - context: my mother grew up in post-WW2 Indonesia, they had a local shopkeeper who was Chinese and would deliver their groceries every few days and my grandmother would sell some of her garden produce back to him. When my grandmother was cross with my mother she would say that phrase. Fast-forward to the mid-1970's in Australia and my mum would say the same thing to me.

Then one day when I was young, we were out shopping we went into an Asian grocery store and I freaked-the-fuck-out because I though she was actually going to go through with it.

*Yes, I know "Chinaman" is not the preferred nomenclature.
