Iris isn’t stupid, her character is just contradicting. She’s the leader of the noble faction, a main cause of political unrest in the empire but by the end aria described her as “just born a noble.” Eh? Shes described as smart and cunning but was defeated because <the king of the country she was going to commit treason with is childhood friends with Asher> cmon… Shes more royal than aria ever was but she <only understood the royal family power when she was about to die> She was made to be a very important character, but when it was time for her to go the author gave her character a 180 and made her not like herself, she didn’t even keep her arrogance as a noble. With her connections, her power and her position at the dukedom realistically she is so much more hard working than aria and Asher, but it’s not her story.
