Tattoos. You go through this whole painful experience just to have a piece of art on you that means something. Or the dumb tattoo I have from when I was 16 and rebellious and just represents the memories of the moment and being young and dumb. But I also have tattoos that I got with my best fiend and when I lost my baby and when I came home from a life changing experience and my mom said “fuck yeahs let’s commentate that shit with some ink even thigh youre only 16.” They hurt and some are amateur but the memories and what they stand for is the best.

Giving birth, however, was NOT my favorite pain. My own mother, the one who let me get tattoos with her before I was 18, told me I would “forget about the pain of childbirth” and that it would be “magical” was fucking lying. Me kid is 14 and I love that shit head more than life itself but I remember every encrusting moment of pregnancy and birth. It SUCKED ASS. I will NEVER FORGET but it is was also so amazing seeing my baby the first time. Growing a human inside you and then they come out as that tiny individual is you get to watch grow into their own person. Parenthood is its own type of pain.
