What scares you the most about the world today?

Fuck off. Reality exists.

I will assume you meant this in the worst way possible, because "fuck off" doesn't have any good connotation to it at all. I would also like to say that you did, in the first sentence, exactly what I was talking about. If you hadn't assumed we weren't as intelligent as you, you would have tried to see our side. But you started with "fuck off".

This mindset might apply to opinions, but facts are actually things, and they are worth fighting for.

They are worth fighting for, and they are things. But two facts that contradict each other morally can be of the same thing. Like u/TurtleTurkyfish so eloquently put, in the example of abortion, it is factual that women can get pregnant from rape, and it is factual that abortion is physically and psychologically damaging to the one getting the abortion. So you decide yourself which fact you want to feel is most important, and this will be different depending on your own life experiences, experiences that the person who disagrees with you most likely have never had.

The above statement "someone else's reasons are important, or at least just as important as our reasons" is not at all correct.

Can I ask why you feel that way?

What if that person is deceiving themselves because it's more convenient than facing a hard reality?

We can mention what if's all day. And this wasn't what I was referring to.

How are you being honorable by staying quiet while potentially harmful misunderstandings go unchecked?

I am genuinely curious as to how trying to understand where people come from is the same as "staying quiet while potentially harmful misunderstandings go unchecked". Empathy has always been an important part of everything. If you refuse to relate to anyone, then you're a selfish dick.

Your position is not honorable, it's cowardly and lazy.

A wise man will keep his mouth shut, but a foolish man is known for his many words.

I don't particularly like calling you out either, and I dread the stupid drawn out conversation it will inevitably lead to

Then maybe you shouldn't have said anything to begin with.

but it's the right fucking thing to do

Can I ask why you feel that way?
