What have you seen, in person, that made you believe in ghosts?

I'm the most cynical, skeptical person I know. I'm not religious and don't believe in much. I can't say I believe in ghosts, but I don't know how else to explain it. My great grandmother died when I was 13 or so. I didn't know her especially well and can't say we were very close. But a couple of days after she died, I suddenly woke up in my sleep. I used to have a weight bench in my bedroom and when I woke up she was sitting on the end of it, wearing a pink nightgown and just watching me. I should have been scared or startled, but it was a very calming experience. I didn't say anything - I just stared in awe, while she sort of just watched me for a minute or so. After what I'd guess was 2 minutes, she smiled, stood up and walked out of my room. I immediately got up and walked into my hallway and she was gone.

That's been over twenty years and I've never seen anything like it since, can't explain it and doubt I'll ever see anything like it again. Like I said, I'm not religious and would never openly admit to my friends that I believe in, or have seen a ghost - but I don't know how else to explain it.
