The real scandal to me seems to be the Trump campaign working directly with Russian foreign intelligence agents to steal shit from the Democratic National Committee, which is illegal. It's not much different from the Watergate scandal which brought down Nixon.

I don't buy into this "the Russians have taken over the government" crap, though. Trump and his people are crooks, that's pretty much all.

Also notice Roger Stone's involvement in the affair -- he has a Nixon tattoo on his back. Guy like him, you know, are happier being history's villains. He says "Nixon was no crook," but you know he loves Nixon precisely because he was a crook. It's like how some older Italian-American guys in Philadelphia think John Gotti is the best man who ever lived.
