What is some dark shit going on around the world right now that the public probably doesn’t know about?

The way I had read that person’s comments is that they were also employed in the same multinational corporation. That made me assume they’re contracted employees, not precarious people in the slave trade who likely do manual labor and don’t interact with people traveling for bussiness.

Again like I said not denying the US has MUCH better labor laws than most developing countries, but I’m saying the specific example I replied to is more of an issue of capitalism encountered by most people than an example of the slave trade which is a lot worse than a lazy asshole boss who gets paid a lot more than her employees.

Though if I misunderstood that comment and they were literally slaves owned by her, then I’m wrong here but would be curious about why the multinational company they work with slaves let alone send him to interact with them. If that’s the case, seems like a structural problem with the global economy exploiting these countries’ exploitative labor laws.
